2 cups sifted flour (more if needed)
1 cup butter (2 cubes) softened
4 Tbls granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 cups chopped pecans (or other nuts)
1 cup (or more) powdered sugar
Cream sugar, vanilla and butter and work in flour with hands, then nuts.
Shape into balls-smaller than walnuts. (I shape mine to fit into candy cups allowing for a 1/8" expansion.)
Bake one hour at 250° Should be solid but not browned.
Roll in powdered sugar while very hot - again when cold.
