3/4 cup whipping (35%) cream
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 Tbls *liqueur such as Hazelnut, Kahlua or Galliano (*use decaf coffee for kids)
Suggested Dipping Items:
• Pound cake (cubed)
• Strawberries
• Banana chucks
• Orange segments
• Pretzels
• Large Marshmallows
• Small cookies
• Dried fruit chunks
Arrange on a pretty platter!
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream and chocolate chips.
Microwave on High for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until chocolate is shiny and almost melted.
Stir until smooth.
Whisk liqueur or decaf coffee into chocolate mixture.
Transfer to fondue pot on low setting or use the tea-light warming pots.
