4 large eggs
3/4 cup oil
3/4 cup water
1 tsp lemon extract
1 yellow cake mix
1 small pkg Lemon Jell-O®
Note: Use Orange Jell-O® and extract for a tasty alternative to the lemon.
Glaze:
Mix together 2 cups (sifted) powdered sugar (sifted) plus juice of one lemon or 1/2 orange.
Grease & flour 10” tube or bundt pan
Beat all ingredients together until smooth (about 2-3 minutes)
Transfer to baking pan, and bake 30-40 minutes at 350º
Test for doneness with wooden skewer (should come out clean)
Cool slightly and invert onto serving dish.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle glaze over top.
