One Deep Dish pie crust (I use this recipe and make sure to use 2/3 for a deep dish)
Save the rest for a smaller pie or tart.
3 cups sliced peaches
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
21/2 cups milk
Preheat oven to 350º
Place peaches into unbaked deep dish pie shell.
Beat eggs "good" (Marian's words 😊)
Add milk, sugar and vanilla, if desired to eggs and mix well.
Pour custard over peaches.
Bake 1 hour, shake the pan slightly. If still watery or not quite set, back up to 15 minutes longer.
Keep an eye on it. Inserted buter knife should come out pretty clean.
