1 pt milk
2 eggs
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla
In saucepan, on top stove scald milk on med-high and remove from heat.
In medium sized bowl, beat eggs, and add flour and sugar and salt.
Beat until smooth.
Pour scalded milk over egg mixture and blend well.
Return to saucepan and cook over double boiler on low-med heat, stirring constantly, until nice and thick for cake filling.
Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla.
