1/2 cup ea. butter & Crisco® shortening
11/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
23/4 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsps. cream of tarter
For the *Coating Mix together:
3 Tbls. sugar & 3 tsps. cinnamon
Beat butter, Crisco® & sugar until light & creamy.
Beat in eggs
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cream of tarter, soda & salt.
Stir into sugar mixture.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400.
Shape dough into walnut-sized balls and roll in *coating mixture.
Place balls onto ungreased cookie sheets 2” apart.
Bake until set, 8-10 min., or until golden brown at 400º.
