One 9” Pastry Shell
1 cup pecan halves
1 Tbls. flour
3 eggs
½ tsp vanilla
1 Tbls. melted butter
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup (or more) powdered sugar
Arrange the pecan halves in the bottom of the pie shell
In small bowl, beat the eggs.
Add the butter, corn syrup and vanilla. Stir well until blended.
In medium sized bowl, combine the sugar and flour and blend this with the egg mixture.
Pour over nuts in the pie shell. Let stand until the nuts rise to the surface.
Bake in moderate oven (350º) for 45 minutes. Serves 6-8
