1 - 4 lb boneless pork butt
2 Tbls butter
2 Tbls favorite rub
1/2 cup cider vinegar
3 Tbls dark brown sugar
1 Tbls. salt
1 Tbls. cumin
1 Tbls. paprika
1 tsp. pepper
1 Tbls. cayenne
1 liter coke
Barbecue Sauce
8 Hamburger buns
Rub pork butt with your favorite rub.
Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Place into deep pot/dutch oven with butter, and brown slightly.
Add other ingredients down to but not including coke.
Cover with water and bring to boil.
Lower heat and simmer for 3-6 hours or until a fork will easily pull pork.
Remove from liquid and pull or break up pork into clean pot.
Add liter of coke and cook down another hour or so.
Serve on Kaiser or Hamburger buns with Grandma Stella’s Barb-B-Q Sauce.
DON’T forget the COLESLAW and Dill Pickles.
